RDC: Uninstalling Default Drivers
Learn how to properly uninstall default drivers and install the correct drivers for the MagTek Check Scanner.
If the MagTek check scanner is connected to the computer before downloading the accompanying drivers, Windows may install a driver in an attempt to connect to the hardware.
Should this happen, follow these steps:
Step 1: Disconnect the check scanner
Step 2: Uninstall the Windows driver that was installed
Step 3: Use this link to download and install the correct drivers. Additional instructions are available within the RDC Add-on in the Biller Genie Portal.
