Right Networks Hosting
If your company file is hosted with Right Networks, your setup will be a little different. Follow the steps below for a successful deployment in the Right Networks environment.
Installing the Agent
Right Networks does not allow users to install .exe files themselves, so you will have to reach out to your Right Networks hosting team and ask them to install the Biller Genie Sync Manager in their environment.
You can contact Right Networks Customer Success at 888-417-4448 x3 and ask them to install the "Biller Genie Agent" in your environment.
Getting Connected
Once the agent has been installed in the Right Networks environment, you can follow the normal steps to connect to QuickBooks Desktop.
Multiple QuickBooks Company Files in the Right Networks Environment
If syncing with multiple QuickBooks files in the Right Networks hosting environment, users are unable to keep QuickBooks closed. Therefore, it is recommended that QuickBooks is open but no company file is open.
- Right Networks users may request that QuickBooks is opened upon login by reaching out to the Right Networks hosting support team
- Leaving QuickBooks open but not to a company file will allow users to sync with multiple QuickBooks files
Important Notes
- Users on Right Networks hosted environments will automatically have their agents updated to the newest version after each release.
- Users must be logged into Right Networks with the agent active and connected to run syncs. If they are not logged in, syncs will not run.
- The Right Networks environment will log out automatically after two hours of no activity. This is for security purposes and is managed by Right Networks.
