Email Delivery Issues (IP-Based Filtering)
At Biller Genie, reliable email delivery is critical for invoices, payment confirmations, and account access. If you, your team, or your customers are not receiving emails from Biller Genie, the most common cause is company email or network security systems blocking messages based on sending IP addresses.
This type of filtering can affect more than just login emails and may impact invoices, CC copies, customer notifications, and other system-generated messages.
WARNING!
Company email security systems can block Biller Genie emails without placing them in spam or junk folders. If this occurs, invoices and login emails may never reach their destination.
To ensure reliable delivery, Biller Genie sending IP addresses must be explicitly allowlisted in your email or security system.
What Emails Can Be Affected
IP-based email filtering can interfere with multiple types of Biller Genie emails, including:
Invoices sent to customers
CC copies of invoices sent to you or your team
Payment confirmation emails
Login emails such as magic links or verification codes
System notifications and alerts
If any of these emails are missing, delayed, or delivered inconsistently, IP-based filtering is a likely cause.
Common Signs of IP-Based Blocking
You may be experiencing IP-based email blocking if customers report that they never received an invoice, or if you are not receiving CC copies of invoices that were sent successfully.
Other common indicators include emails arriving too late to be usable, login links expiring before they can be clicked, or messages delivering to personal email addresses such as Gmail or Yahoo but failing to reach company or work email addresses.
This issue often begins after changes to email security settings, firewall rules, spam-filter configurations, or Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace environments.
Resolving Email Delivery Issues
This process will be completed in two parts:
Part A: Allowing inbound email from Biller Genie
Part B: Verifying successful email delivery
Part A: Allowing Inbound Email From Biller Genie
Step 1
Identify whether you have administrator access to your company’s email or security system.
If you do not have administrator access, you will need to contact your IT team or email provider to complete the remaining steps.
Step 2
Allow inbound email from Biller Genie by allowlisting the sending IP ranges listed below.
Allowlisting ensures emails are delivered immediately and are not delayed, quarantined, or blocked by security systems.
Step 3
Add the following Biller Genie sending IP ranges to your email or security system allowlist:
These IP ranges must be explicitly allowed, not simply monitored.
When possible, allow them at the SMTP or inbound connection level. IP reputation filtering, rate limiting, throttling, sandboxing, and delayed delivery rules should be bypassed for these addresses.
Email Provider Configuration Examples

Log in to your GoDaddy Email & Office Dashboard
Open Advanced Email Security
Navigate to Settings
Select Allow List or Safe List
Choose IP Address and add each IP range
If you do not see an option to allowlist IP addresses, contact GoDaddy Support and request that inbound email from these IP ranges be allowed.
Squarespace Email
Squarespace email is hosted through Google Workspace.
To allow the IP ranges, follow the Google Workspace steps above. If you do not have administrator access, contact Squarespace Support for assistance.
When IT Assistance Is Required
You will need help from your IT team or email provider if:
You do not have administrator access
Your company uses advanced email security tools
Invoices are not reaching customers
Emails are missing without appearing in spam or junk folders
You may send the message below to your IT team:
Please allow inbound email from the following sending IP ranges to ensure reliable delivery of Biller Genie invoices and notifications:
87.253.232.0/21
185.189.236.0/22
185.211.120.0/22
185.250.236.0/22
Part B: Confirming Email Delivery
Step 1
Send a test invoice to yourself and confirm that you receive it promptly.
Step 2
Verify that CC copies are delivered correctly if they are enabled.
Step 3
Request a login email (magic link or verification code) to confirm that account access emails are working as expected.
If emails arrive promptly, the issue has been resolved.
