If the MagTek check scanner is connected to the computer before downloading the accompanying drivers, Windows may install a driver in an attempt to connect to the hardware.
Should this happen, follow these steps:
Step 1: Disconnect the check scanner
Step 2: Uninstall the Windows driver that was installed
Step 3: Use this link to download and install the correct drivers. Additional instructions are available within the RDC Add-on in the Biller Genie Portal.
